Goldie

Clifford Joseph Price (MBE), better known as Goldie, is an internationally acclaimed British DJ, musician, actor and visual artist.
Initially gaining exposure for his work as a graffiti artist in the 80’s, Goldie became well known for his pioneering role as a musician in the 90’s.
He returned to the contemporary art world in the mid 00’s with exhibitions held across the globe.
Goldie is an artist whose ferocious creativity shows no bounds. His versatility as a visual artist has come to fore and recent work has included sculpture, album artwork, and forays into furniture and fashion design.
In 2016, Goldie was appointed a ‘Member of the Order of the British Empire’ (MBE) for services to music, the arts and young people by the late Queen Elizabeth II.
Over the span of his career, he has formed connections and ties with celebrated artists from around the world. This sparked the idea and inspiration to establish Aurum Gallery which showcases some of the biggest artists in contemporary, urban and street art.
