Aurum Gallery Bangkok is absolutely honoured to exhibit Inkie’s artwork as part of our collection. With a career that goes back to 1983, Inkie is one of Britain’s most prolific graffiti artists and one of the world’s original street artists.

London-based and Bristol-bred, Inkie is considered a part of Bristol’s graffiti heritage alongside Banksy (whom he has collaborated with), 3D and Nick Walker. Beginning his career as a member of the Crime Incorporated Crew (CIC), he later exploded onto the scene, coming second in the World Street Art Championships in 1989.

The artist is well known for combining art nouveau influences with an urban twist. His inspiration comes from a variety of places such as punk rock culture, graffiti artists like Goldie and The Chrome Angels, as well as from Mayan architecture, Alfonse Mucha and Islamic geometry.

Inkie’s artworks are part of the collections of Robbie Williams, Jade Jagger, Fatboy Slim, Chemical Brothers and many more.
